The mechanics are simple. One dog and one handler, in the van at your driveway, with you in sight for the entire session. Warm water, quiet handling, no other dogs, no background dryers, and no upsell at any point. We budget extra time on purpose, so nothing has to be rushed and every new thing, the ramp, the tub, the sprayer, the dryer, gets introduced at whatever speed your dog needs.
The philosophy is just as simple: the dog sets the pace, and stopping is allowed. Our approach is fear free in the plainest sense, the session is a success if the dog ends it calmer about baths than they started, and a clean coat on a shaking dog is not a success by our count.
One comfort session per day. This session gets extra time by design, so we schedule at most one each day. That is the honest reason these slots are limited, and why booking a week or two out is the safe move.
A dog a few weeks out of the shelter does not need one more overwhelming new place. The van comes to the driveway they already know, and you stay in view the whole time.
For some dogs the bath was never the problem. The crate, the dryers roaring in a room of strange dogs, the drop-off, that was the problem. All of it is gone here.
No jumping into cars or tubs. We support the dog the whole time, keep the footing non-slip, and let stiff joints set the pace.
The first bath writes the script for every bath after it. Warm water, quiet hands, lots of breaks, and the puppy leaves thinking baths are fine. That is the entire goal.
A nervous dog should not cost more to wash than a relaxed one, so the comfort session uses the same flat ladder as every wash we do: by dog size, nothing else.
The extra time is built in, not billed. And you only pay for a completed wash: if your dog needs to stop before we finish, that visit costs nothing, and the next attempt is the same single price.
