Warm-water bath
Fresh heated water from our own tank, shampoo matched to your dog's coat and skin, worked all the way down to the undercoat.
Full brush-out
Every wash includes a complete brush-out. Loose fur comes out in the van instead of on your floors for the next three weeks.
De-shedding
Multi-stage de-shed for double-coated breeds. This is the single biggest difference a wash makes for Huskies, Goldens and Shepherds.
Nail trim
Trimmed and smoothed, with no wrestling on your kitchen floor. Grinding available if your dog tolerates it better.
Ear cleaning
Ears wiped and checked. If we see something that looks like an infection, we tell you so you can call your vet.
Towel and blow dry
Your dog leaves dry, not damp. No wet-dog smell settling into your car or your couch.

If your dog needs any of these, we will tell you during booking and point you toward a groomer who does them well. We would rather lose the visit than sell you the wrong service.
The math
A full mobile groom in the Bay Area runs $95–155.
Most of that gap is the haircut — the scissor work, the clipper work, and the two-to-three hours it takes. Take the haircut out and the visit takes about 45 minutes. That is the entire reason a wash costs $55 to $95 instead. If your dog does not need cutting, the extra money buys you nothing.

Which dogs
A wash is the whole job for most dogs.
Double-coated breeds — Huskies, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Corgis, Labs — should never be shaved. Their coat regulates temperature in both directions, and clipping it permanently changes how it grows back. What they actually need is a deep wash and a thorough de-shed, which is exactly what we do.
Continuously-growing coats are the real exception. Poodles, Doodles, Shih Tzus and Bichons need scheduled cutting from a groomer. We still wash them between appointments — a doodle bath and brush-out keeps the coat mat-free and stretches the time between full grooms — but we are the in-between service for those breeds, not the whole answer.

Wash versus groom, answered honestly.
A full mobile groom includes a haircut, which is skilled scissor and clipper work and is what drives the price to $95–155. A mobile wash covers everything else — bath, brush-out, de-shed, nails, ears, and dry. For the majority of dogs, especially short-coated and double-coated breeds that never need a haircut at all, the wash is the entire job.
Most do not. Labs, Goldens, Huskies, Shepherds, Beagles, Pit mixes, and almost every short-coated breed should never be clipped — cutting a double coat damages how it insulates and regrows. Poodles, Doodles, Shih Tzus, Bichons and other continuously-growing coats genuinely do need cutting. If yours is one of them, we will tell you and point you to a groomer.
Because we do one thing and we do it fast. No haircut means no scissor time, no drying-and-restyling cycle, and a visit that takes about 45 minutes instead of two to three hours. That is the whole reason a wash runs $55–95 while a full mobile groom runs $95–155.
It is the same van, the same warm water, the same one-dog-at-a-time attention, and the same at-your-door convenience — minus the haircut. If you have been booking full grooms mainly to get your dog clean, you have been paying roughly double for a service you were not using.
Matting cannot be washed out — water tightens mats and makes them worse. If your dog is significantly matted, they need a groomer with clippers first. We will say so honestly rather than take your money for a wash that will not help.
