A dog washing service that comes to your door.
Bath, brush-out, nail trim, ear cleaning and a full dry, from $75 by size. We don't do haircuts, so the whole visit goes into the wash.
What it is
A professional bath, without the haircut, at your house.
A dog washing service is the bath half of grooming, done properly: warm water, the right shampoo, a real rinse, the nails and ears, and a dry that reaches the skin. Ours is mobile. We park our self-contained van at your driveway or curb, bring our own water and heat it on board, and wash one dog at a time. No drop-off, no cage, no car ride.
It takes about 45 minutes for most dogs. You do not need to supervise, and you get a text when we are on the way and when your dog is done. The step-by-step version is on how a visit works.

Salon bath menus list what their bath covers, so here is ours in the same form. Nails and ears are part of the wash at every size. For reference, a nail trim bought on its own at a salon runs about $25, and the median ear-cleaning add-on in our Bay Area price survey is $15.
Included in every wash
Warm-water bath
Fresh water from the van's own tank, heated on board. Shampoo matched to your dog's coat and skin, worked down to the undercoat.
Conditioning rinse
Rinsed until the water runs clear, so no shampoo residue is left in the coat to itch or smell later.
Full brush-out
Loose fur comes out at your curb instead of on your floors for the next three weeks.
Nail trim, clip or grind
Included, not an add-on. Tell us which you prefer when you book.
Ear cleaning
Ears wiped and checked. If something looks like an infection, we tell you so you can call your vet.
Full dry
Towel and forced-air dry. Your dog goes back inside dry, not damp.

Why wash-only
We don't do haircuts. That's why the bath is better and cheaper.
At a groomer the bath is the warm-up for the haircut. Here it is the whole job, so the time goes into the rinse and the dry, the two steps that decide whether a dog stays clean for weeks or smells again in two days.
Most dogs do not need a haircut between grooms, and many breeds should never be clipped at all. A full mobile groom in the Bay Area runs $120–202, and most of that is the cut. Take the cut out and a wash costs $75 to $155. If your dog does need a haircut, we will say so and point you to a groomer. Wash versus groom, explained.

Labs, Goldens, Huskies, Shepherds, Beagles and most mixes never need a haircut. For them a proper wash is the whole job.

Ours includes a warm-water bath, a conditioning rinse, a full brush-out, a nail trim (clip or grind), ear cleaning and a full dry. That is the whole visit, and it is the same list at every size. Haircuts are not included, ever.
No. The nail trim and the ear cleaning are both included in every wash. The price is set by your dog's size and nothing else, and you see it before you confirm.
A groomer's main job is the haircut, which is skilled scissor and clipper work and is why a full mobile groom runs $120–202. A washing service does everything except the cut. For most dogs, the wash is all they ever need; for poodles and doodles it is the visit between haircuts.

About 45 minutes for most dogs. Very large or very thick-coated dogs can run to an hour or a little more, particularly with a heavy de-shed.
No. The van carries its own fresh water, heats it on board, and runs on its own power. Dirty water goes into a sealed tank in the van, not down your driveway.
Mats cannot be washed out, and water tightens them. If your dog is significantly matted we will say so before booking: they need a groomer with clippers first. We would rather lose the visit than sell you a wash that will not help.
